When watching this, please remember that conservative stalwart Phyllis Schlafly (like so many social conservatives) has a gay son:
Ms. Schlafly has said many times in the press that she wishes people would stop bringing up that she has an openly gay son. But you know what? We really wish that Phyllis, at 83 years of age, would finally stop bringing up that she views her gay son as a lesser than, second-class citizen whose love is unworthy of equal legal parity. We unfortunately can't always get what we want.

Your thoughts
Amazing that she can cite reference to the GAO report and the amount of rights that "husbands and wives" receive but she can't conceive of the fact that if she has her way, her son will never be able to get those benefits with his partner.
