In-fighting plaguing the out gay-fighters
Yesterday we showed you how California anti-gay activist Randy Thomasson is reacting to the surprising news that Christian workhorse Pat Robertson is endorsing Rudy Giuliani. Well now, extreme gay foe Randall Terry of the militant Operation Rescue group (who, like so many anti-gay conservatives, has a gay child) has offered up further and nuttier reactionary thoughts via a new press release. Here's but a brief sample of the sanity at hand:
If Rudy Giuliani was a Democrat, Pat Robertson might denounce him as Satan Himself – or at least Mayor Beelzebronx - Lord of the N.Y. Flies. Rudy would be the poster boy of CBN attack ads and fundraising appeals.
"Rudy has perfect credentials on social issues like child-killing, partial birth abortion, federal funding for "poor women" to have abortions, and so-called homosexual marriage or civil unions. Add to that his unblemished betrayal of the Second Amendment, and he would be a stellar Democratic candidate – with the ethical stature of Al Sharpton, Al Gore, and Hillary Clinton herself.
Rudy's treachery to the Catholic Church makes John Kerry look like a choir-boy. During his tenure as mayor Rudy revoked the permit of the Ancient Order of Hibernians for their annual St. Patrick's Day parade. (The Hibernian's are a faithful Catholic Fraternity.) Why? They would not allow homosexual floats to participate in a Catholic Christian parade. The Catholics had to go to Federal Court to get their parade permit back. This is who Pat Robertson is backing.
Really? Rudy's the "Mayor Beelzebronx - Lord of the N.Y. Flies"? We always thought that was the name of the fly-covered crazy man who stands outside of Yankee stadium and threatens to blow up the world unless we give him some Fanta soda, but it Randall would prefer the moniker to go to Rudester -- so be it! We're sure he's been called worse. Plus, we can always call that insane dude outside of the stadium by his alternate name: "ex-boyfriend."*
But we must admit: We're loving this outrage! Terry is even going so far as to organize a protest of the headquarters of the Christian Broadcasting Network, the media outlet that Robertson founded. Good! We're getting sick of being the only ones protesting and highlighting the absurd decision-making, hypocrisy, and political principles of those who've been condemning up to "Beezlebronx" for decades. Even if those doing the protesting themselves view us in an unsavory light, at least they're doing the good deed of shedding a light (which tends to be bright around Rudy) on the posturing and nuttiness.

Hey I didn't know that. Thanks, Rudy. Well it makes my vote in the primary even easier. (not like I was going to vote for Romney or Thompson anyway)

lol it actually turns out that heavily anti gay figures are sometimes engaging in homosexual activity themselves, as with the cas of Rev. oh I forget his name, busted for buying meth and having gay sex...this was a publically anti-gay figure
