And now in reprehensible goal achievement news

by Jeremy Hooper

Picture 1-128The so-called Christian Family Council has announced that they have submitted the additional 3,000+ petition signatures that they needed to place a gay marriage amendment on Florida's 2008 ballot:

In a related story, history has announced that they've recorded the mean-spirited and discriminatory pushes that will place their organization's name in the 2008-Infinity editions of the World Book of Ignobility.

Your thoughts

And christians wonder why the world is turning against them.

They can't put 2 and 2 together and realize "Hey, if I discriminate against others because they don't believe in the same god as I do, people will start hate me for what I believe in. Maybe if I start minding my own business and realize that everyone should be equal, more people will be more open-minded to listen and accept me for who I am just like I accept them for who they are. I'll just let my so-called god deal with them when they go before judgment just like I will."

Closed-minded christians annoy the living out of me.

I agree, although I'm having a hard time dealing with the ones in my family. They are happier to believe that Islam is a violent religion, Wiccans worship satan, and gay people are evil instead of putting any study or real thought into it.
