Weird, we've always thought of their work as cheap
The extremely radical MassResistance group has always accepted and even sought lucre in order to fund their rabidly anti-gay endeavors. However, judging by a new image they've placed on their homepage, it seems they want 2008 to become the year that the salary for tarnishing the Bay State with bias finally reaches six figures:
Yes, that's right: Massachusetts' most discriminatory duo, Brian Camenker and Amy Contrada, are now setting out on some sort of fundraising drive to reach an unexplained $150,000 goal. Could it be that this is the sticker price for the new train of inequality that they're planning to pilot? Is it the exact fare needed to make Massachusetts unfair? Or is this the cost ? Well, who knows? But whatever the reason, MassResistance has become like some bizarro version of PBS, wherein donators will not be rewarded with a station ID-emblazoned tote bag and/or a Ken Burns soundtrack CD, but instead with a future in which queer people are shunned for simply living their truths.
Our goal, on the other hand? To ensure that no amount of capital that the group could ever raise will stop us from reaching that free and fully obtainable pot of gold known as acceptance. And don't worry -- we don't plan to pass around a collection plate.

Dude, how could you leave out that: (1) they misspelled "Bunker Hill" and (2) the monument is totally phallic?

I thought I was the only one who would have found that phallic. Just goes to show how obsessed they are with penises (especially ours and what we do with them).

Don't worry everyone -- the phallic nature of the "Buner" Hill statue was certainly not lost on this writer. I just gave them a pass on that irony, as a sort of early Christmas present to my friends at MassResistance.
However, Xmas is now over, so...
