Fred up: Thompson out of the horse race
GOP non-starter Fred Thompson, never a friend of the gays, has officially dropped out of the presidential race:

Rumor has it that he'll now return to "Law & Order," where he'll investigate Cam Payne, a D.C.-bound man who was killed by a non-visionary Southerner who often seems like he'd rather be taking a nap than running the free world.
