How cute is she?
Is her science up to snuff? No, not really. Does she fully get it? Absolutely not. But given the choice between this 80-year-old's take versus that of the much younger folks who not only have lots to learn in terms of gay lives, but who have also shut off their minds to any further growth -- well, we'd take nana's any day of the week. There is an openness there. And in that willingness to admit that none of us have all the lock-solid answers, there is considerable room for growth.
