Beaver State gays: Go get yeself a DP-ship

200802041051Good news, Oregon gays: A judge has lifted the temporary injunction that has kept the state's domestic partnership law from taking effect. This means that as of this morning, you and your DP-to-be can head down to your local government office and get many of the same rights that your married peers have been taking for granted for years:

One small step for gay equality; one giant leap for those who are sick of the rabid 'mo foes who almost seem like they wanna treat the 21st century gays of Salem, OR like the 17th century "witches" of Salem, Mass.
