Harvey Milk not banned from TN schools

200802191444You remember that legislation we told you about that would ban all types of gay-centric discussion in Tennessee's public schools? Well we're happy to report that a House subcommittee today killed Rep. Stacey Campfield's disturbingly backwards bill:

It remains to be seen what sort of legislative ingenuity Campfield will dream up next. Though we do hear a measure that would require hetero students to cover their eye, ear, and any other holes whenever a gay kid walks by is not out of the question.
