Video: With a name like 'Endtimes', it's gotta be gay-unfriendly
Good morning. How's about we start the day with some raging disdain for gay people, frighteningly hostile sensibilities, loads of untruths about various bits of legislation, and myopically selective readings of certain Bible passages, shall we?
You know, we'd actually start respecting these folks more if they'd drop the whole, "now gay people, we don't hate you" bits. Because seriously, after diatribes in which an all-out war is declared on our lives and loves, it becomes tough for us to muster even the slightest degree of concern about whether or not they mean the insults to be personal. The denigration is personal by its very nature.
Now, people like the dudes in the video might truly mean their "it's not personal" schtick, and we totally get that. After all, here at G-A-Y, we don't ever attack our opposition on a personal level, as the message is all we care about combatting. But the difference is that we aren't demonizing a population sect. They are. And when you are the one casting the stones, it's just sorta silly to add a superfluous layer regarding how personal you intend those stones to be (even if it does help you sleep better at night).
