And here we thought he was ovah, dolls

by Jeremy Hooper

200803211707We haven't heard much lately about Ralph Ovadahl, the Wisconsin preacher who traverses the Badger State speaking out against the evil gays. However, his failure to register on our radar apparently doesn't mean that we've fallen off of his anti-gaydar. Our friends over at The Victory Fund have discovered Ovadahl and his cohorts from Pilgrim’s Covenant Church distributing anti-gay brochures within the district of openly gay Milwaukee Common Council candidate Patrick Flaherty:

Anti-gay literature appears on doorsteps in Milwaukee alderman race [GayPolitics]

The brochure that is being dropped off is called "Homosexuality: The Truth." Somehow we don't think "IT's FABULOOOOUUUUSSS!" is the document's big reveal.

We live in the Mt Mary College area just east of Mayfair.
Just today (1/7/09), we got one of these pamphlets (Ralph Ovadahl's hate message) left between our doors.

I'm not sure if we were a specific target, or just one of many houses in our area that got their literature. When it was discovered, we drove around our area trying to find:

the people that delivered it.
& if we noticed other houses with the same pamplet.

Neither one was found.

I would just like to know if anyone else in my area got this crap and if it was a targeted drop.

Thank you.
Bill
