Call him Gov. Gav?

by Jeremy Hooper

Picture 13-41Gavin Newsom, the San Francisco mayor who gained world fame in 2004 for attempting to marry same-sex couples, has intimated that he might run for governor of California in 2010:

Though we hear Gavin fears he doesn't have the qualifications, as he's never been a famous bodybuilder or the star of a movie with the words "Kindergarten" or "Cop" in the title.

It remains to be seen if Gavin follows through on his plans. Though we hear he's learning his lines for First Grade Detective just in case.

Your thoughts

I voted for Gov. Schwarzenegger twice (and proud of it)

I also plan to vote for Gavin a second time as the mayor of my native city.

I also look forward to voting for him when/if her runs for Governor!

Go Newsom!
