It's not gay TV news, it's gay HBO news
With the network's programming choir seeing fewer "Sopranos" and more off-notes in recent years, it has been revealed that the Strauss that has been orchestrating those notes, out HBO entertainment president Carolyn Strauss, will be stepping down from her post:

It remains to be seen if losing an out gay person in such a prominent seat will affect the queer content in HBO's future offerings. Though we do hear that some show called "Ah Dude, Look at that Chick then Grab me a Brew because the Game is Coming On" is rumored to be on the development slate.
