What better way to honor the holiday?

On Good Friday, we showed you how Westboro Baptist was honoring the day by thanking God for flood deaths that have recently occurred in Missouri. So what did the "fag-hating" clan do to celebrate Easter Sunday? Well, they made a crude joke about an auto accident related to those same floods, natch:

Picture 20-20

Some hide and hunt for eggs, while others hide all sense of decency while hunting for new and unique ways to shock the world with their callous religious views. It take all kinds to make the world go, "Holy f***ing nutty, how could people be so frighteningly cruel?"

***NOTE: The full Westboro blog post can be found on their website. However, a link from us is something those insensitive creatures will never receive.

Your thoughts

"Happy, happy; joy, joy!"

Is that a REN & STIMPY reference? God doesn't hate same-sex, inter-species pairings?

Why even bother reporting on these people? I swear, they're doing it for attention, seriously. Even if they truly believe their religious hatred bullshit, they're still behaving obnoxiously for the attention they receive.

Anon: There are two schools of thought. One says you should ignore WBC, the other says to publicize their every move to shine a light on just how real and harsh this sort of hatred can be. We take the latter.

I'm sure the Westboroites assume that they're the only ones going to heaven. Shouldn't someone explain to them that having a soul is a prerequisite to going to heaven? I know ol' Shirley is nuttier than a Snickers bar, but I doubt there's a soul there.
