Yea, gay equality is P.C.: 'Patently Correct'!

In a piece for The Conservative Voice, a writer by the name of Jeff Morton has posited the following "brilliance" about gay-acceptance in public schools:

The Homosexual agenda has been kicking our butts for thirty years. 1% of our total populations have changed our society, its ridiculous! The Gay and Lesbian agenda started their campaign in our high schools. Just walk through your local public school and you will see a concentration of Gay people similar to that of P-Town, Massachusetts teaching our kids. Well, what are they teaching? Indoctrination is more apropos.

They now influence our second graders and we have done absolutely nothing! We continue to allow our tax dollars to support this agenda. Give me a break, our schools are failing! (I am not politically correct so I don't give a hoot whether I offend a gay person with my opinion.)

Okay, so first off: Even if you think there is a "homosexual agenda™," who can honestly say that it's been kicking butts for thirty years? That ass-kicking assertion would come as quite a surprise to the gay folks who literally had their butts kicked during the 70's, 80's, 90's and beyond!

But absurd butt-kicking claims aside, let's now talk about the idea that Mr. Morton is not worried about offending gays because he is "not politically correct." Making it sound as if fostering acceptance is nothing more than liberal, P.C. garbage is certainly a convenient way to rationalize bias. However, seeing the idea that gay people should be respected as part of the spectrum of humanity as "radical" is not a mindset outside of the realm of political correctness, but rather a mentality outside the boundaries of common decency! It is a gross trivialization to make at sound as if you stand in opposition to teachers who encourage inclusivity because you are an un-P.C. conservative. The truth is that if you are working to keeps LGBT people stigmatized, marginalized, and demonized, you are using your personal views to stand in opposition to the reality of the world! And you are not challenging indoctrination; you are combatting actual human lives and the peaceful acceptance thereof!

Mr. Morton: We're not so much offended by people with your views as we are deeply saddened by them. Because while "political correctness" has given you a convenient cover to hide your biases behind, those of us who can see behind the curtain know that your "political incorrectness" is truly just narrow-minded discrimination dressed up in a more palatable costume.

Your thoughts

One percent? I never bought the 10 percent number, but 1 percent is way off.

Hilarious!

Especially beings there's obviously more "christian/conservative" homosexuals than there are openly gay people (aka those with the elusive "gay agenda").

Nobody knows homosex (in graphic detail) like a self-professed "conservative christian" man. And that's the truth.
