Salary for gender bias victim? In the 35k ballpark

200805140849Khadijah Farmer, the New York City woman who made headlines last summer when she was kicked out of a West Village restaurant's bathroom for looking too much like a man, has won a $35,000 settlement in the case:

In addition to the money, the restaurant, Caliente Cab Company, has agree to add gender identity/expression to its nondiscrimination policy, implement a gender-neutral dress code, and amend its employee handbook to specifically state “persons patronizing or employed at Caliente have the right to use the bathroom facilities consistent with their gender identity and expression.

Also, we hear waiters are no longer to suggest that diners have either sausage or breasts.
