Video: Does the macho act really impress anyone?
There are certain truisms that reliably come forth from the mouths of "manly man" 'mo foes.
(1) Regardless of what they look like or how they present themselves, they often like to make it sound as if it's only a matter of time before some gay person comes on to them.
(2) They tend to draw a distinction between those who beat up gays and those who just hate them verbally, with it made to seem like the lack of ass-kickings places the non-violent form of bias on moral high ground.
(3) But those who fall in the verbally rather than physically condemnatory camp usually put the justifiable breaking point at the place where they are hit on by a gay (see number 1), as if violence becomes pretty much mandatory at that point in order to reclaim the manliness of which the flirtatious gay robbed them.
(4) They feel like it's alright to say things like "gays are on a one way track to hell" as long as they are clear to state that it's only their opinion. They of course overlook the fact that not all opinions are deserving of equal credence, with them instead painting their personal views as a simple bit of discourse about which we all should just agree to disagree.
This dude, a self-professed redneck, embraces all of the above and more:
Hey, here's an idea: If a gay dude flirts with you, be flattered! If you want to rationally consider what sorts of people God made, look at the full gamut of his playground! And if you want to draw a distinction between yourself and those "hillbillies" who beat the shite out of gays, then distance yourself from the rhetoric that fuels the punches!
Fear and loathing isn't "tough." Someone with truly impressive fortitude looks weak-minded bias in the "i" and drives it off the landscape. And a truly strong society doesn't embolden those who embrace said bias by writing off their pushes as nothing more than a normal facet of machismo -- it looks them in the places where their spines should be and encourages, nay, demands they reconsider their unfortunate short-sightedness.

Your thoughts
I don't think he has much to worry about in the "bein' hit on by a homosexual" department, but one thing that I have found to mostly be true is that the bigger the bravado, the smaller the penis.
And, the smaller the penis, the more aggressively anti-homosexual (probably what it takes to work at an emasculating place like 'Concerned Women'). Maybe they're jealous .. embarrassed .. mostly really-REALLY angry. But I digress.
Maybe we should send all of these anti-gay self-promoters some Enzyte (male enhancement drugs.) They probably don't work, but these guys are so full of themselves that they would probably never know - and the psychosomatic effect might temper their aggressive nature a bit.

Oh God, rednecks in oversized sweatshirts on YouTube who pronounce their short 'i' sound like a long 'e' are soooooo hot, how can one be expected to stay...composed...around such a...manifestation of...male beauty...must...relieve...self...now...
Oh please, you old hick.
Men who are actually secure in their sexuality aren't bothered when they're hit on by a person of a gender other than the one they prefer.
I'm starting to think these "culture wars" are more about maturity (or lack thereof) than anything else.

Can he talk any slower? I almost fell asleep between his words. Reminds me of the story of a slow talking Southern belle. By the time she could say that she wasn't that kind of girl, she was that kind of girl.
