Audio: Don't like a ruling? Just ignore it!
So what are the good Christians encouraging county officials to do in the wake of the California marriage decision? Well, they want them to ignore both their oaths of office and the "four black-robed autocrats" who ruled by "judicial fiat," and to just simply refuse to have any part in same-sex unions.
Listen in as Matt Barber, Martha Kleder, and Gary Kreep paint the judiciary's role as inconsequential, ignore the fact that the California legislature has twice passed marriage legislation, and encourage government employees to let their biases essentially put them in a fireable state:
WHY DO THESE FOLKS THINK THIS RULING IS A NEGOTIATION?!?! Why do they Feel that marriage equality matters are ones in which they can adapt the rules and standards at will?! Why do they overlook the fact that the people HAVE weighed in via their elected reps? And when are more people going to stand up and call them out on their neverending parade of lies?!
Look, it's fine if county employees don't want to perform the duties on their job. The economy is piss poor, unemployment is high, and there are more than a few candidates who will gladly fill these governmental roles. But to suggest that county employees should be able to use their faith to pick and choose which of their civic duties they will uphold?! Well that is yet another affront to freedom from a movement that has mastered the art form!
**FYI: The "Randy" that Gary Kreep keeps referring to is Randy Thomasson, the same man who recently compared clerks who have to marry gays with Nazi officers who were ordered to "gas the Jews."
Randy Thomasson spoke to the Kern County Board of Supervisors today saying the same thing, and hoping that they will defy the court and get sued for their trouble. I doubt that he is offering to help to fund the defense of those law suits.

These groups piss me off to no end. In essence they say that rights and process don't belong to all of us.
I hope they piss off the wrong person, I'd love nothing better to see these people six feet under.

Notice how frequently he emphasizes that he had NOTHING TO DO WITH the writing of the ordinance and NOTHING TO DO WITH the "legal talking points", either. A ringing endorsement. Perhaps he actually sees what a load of legal hooey they are?
