Audio: Petree dishes

by Jeremy Hooper

Wp-Content Uploads 2008 03 LarrypetreeLarry Petree is a Gospel songwriter, author, and preacher, who has been nominated for awards including the prestigious Dove award. But on a less accomplished note, he is also an unapologetic foe of the 'mos, who says things like the following about "filthy" "queers" who "hate God":

*UPDATE: Sorry, the video has been pulled.

Wow, Larry -- set that to some music, work out a catchy chorus, and we think you've found your next #1! It does certainly feel like "a hit" to us!

Your thoughts

Doesn't this belong on Godtube?

LOL!!

And this is coming from a man whose style of music and lyrics sounds more like he's COURTING Jesus, or trying to talk Jesus into hopping in the sack with him.

I agree with you Ron, the fundies need to go over to GodTube, beings they ban people who comes across as being just slightly pro-gay.

Gee I wonder how it got pulled? Couldn't be that it was flagged off the site due to it's COMPLETELY offensive hate speech. Not to worry, I'm sure that given his vehement hatred of 'filthy queers,' Lar-Bear will be back with something equally charming.

I didn't flag the video, myself, but I did leave a little comment LOL.

According to Donnie McClurkin's alleged fuck-buddy, there's LOTS of deeply closeted men in the so-called "christian" recording industry. By the looks of this guy, I'd say he's one of them.

But I'm still laughing at that title "The church should denounce the homosexuals again". That's like saying "everyone should wake up tomorrow morning, again". Isn't that about the ONLY thing the church does anymore?
