Distancing selves from Dobson: Now that's change we can believe in!
In reaction to the Focus on the Family head's claims that Barack Obama is following a "fruitcake" interpretation of the Bible, a coalition of pastors (including Kirbyjon Caldwell, the Texas minister who married Jenna Bush) have launched a new site called "James Dobson Doesn't Speak For Me," on which they're asking folks to pledge their non-support for the prominent religious right figure. Go join in on the fun:
James Dobson Doesn't Speak For Me
Upon hearing of the site, Jesus was heard to respond: "FINALLY! I've been wanting to start that site for years now, I just didn't have the HTML skills to go public with it!"
Your thoughts
Oh, Dobson referring to anyone as a "fruitcake" is a great Pot & Kettle story!

In case anyone ever asks you, James Dobson is really just an anagram for "Ass-Job Demon"

Thanks for the link to that site, I'm going to be posting it everywhere that I can.
One minor issue...in the interest of accuracy, Dobson said that Obama had a fruitcake interpretation of the CONSTITUTION, not the BIBLE.
P.S. I love this site and you for taking the time to keep us all informed about those who want to deny us our equal rights.

It's about time!
I've been saying for years that REAL Christians need to be vocal, and separate themselves from the so-called "christians". This includes Dobson, FOF, Wildmon, LaBarbera, Barber, Coulter, Hannity, and the rest of those kooks.
There's a big difference between the two.
