Yay, no stay!

Picture 13-47Good news for fans of marriage equality, fair decisions, and the shooting down of folks who baselessly try and stifle the legal process: The California Supreme Court has denied the far-right's attempts to "stay" the marriage ruling until after the November election:

Excellent. Marriages will begin on June 17.

Now here's just hoping that on November 4, 2008, we'll be able to report that the California public has denied the far-right's attempts to "stay" decency and fairness for even another second.
