Anti-gay marriage: Marilyn renews her vows

Picture 15-42Apparently feeling she hasn't fully enough connected her political legacy to anti-gay bias through her introduction of a federal gay marriage amendment in both 2003 and 2006, congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave (R-CO) has now signed on as a co-sponsor of the latest version of the proposed ban:

Musgrave re-enters gay marriage debate [Coloradoan]

Because apparently Marilyn believes in the "if it's totally broken, still don't fix it" style of policy-making.

But will this reinvestment in this tired, overwrought issue hurt Musgrave's chances for re-election in the fall, where she faces a formidable challenge from Democrat Betsy Markey? Well, that very much depends on whether local voters are finally ready to replace their broken records with a more updated, less repetitive sound.

Your thoughts

I would love it if her constituents call her office and ask whats more important the lives of our service members in the middle east or ending marriage for same sex couples just like that famous Youtube video.
