Gays destroying sanctity of McNugget intake
Want to see torch-wielding mobbery at its most frightening? Well go check out the comments that the American Family Association has chosen to publish in reaction to their recently-announced McDonald's boycott. Here are a few samples and a link to many, many more:
"I am sad that a "family" restaurant would speak out and want to protect sexual activities in the community, what is next, a full support for prostitutes and people who want to have affairs on their spouses? Are these really issues your company wants to support? What does sex and their preferences have to do with eating at breakfast lunch or dinner? Why not concentrate on the quality of food products, not sex! What are you really selling anyway?"
"I guess I will stop eating at the queens and start eating only at the King. I love your food but not at this cost of family."
"It is not suprising that a company who promotes the belief in magic should also promote this abomination. Mc Donald's is not family friendly, they are worldly. Chick-Fil-A is more a family friendly chain of resturants. They play Christain music in the resturant where I live. May their plans be brought to naught regarding the promotion of these sinful practices. We are not merely another animal, but were made in the likeness of God. Have mercy Lord on these people!!!"
"WOW!! Terrorism = Homosexuals = McDonalds What's next McDonalds? Beastiality?"
Boycott McDonald's comments section [AFA's ridiculous McDonald's boycott site]
The fatty, gut-busting, artery-clogging, charred animal flesh is something these good Christians could totally handle. The inclusivity of all of God's children, however? Grimace and Ronald's heads are gonna roll!!!
But on the bright side? There will now be far fewer people to complain when the forthcoming line of Harvey Milk Happy Meal toys are released! Which frankly we couldn't be happier about, as we think the 'Harvey revels in the defeat of the Briggs Initiative" commemorative glass and the "I've got your 'fruit pie' right here, Anita Bryant" action figure are going to be real collector's items.
**FYI: We say that these are the comments that the AFA has "chosen to post," because we have tried to leave several gay-positive ones, and none have been approved. Others have told us the same thing.
I find it bit annoying that the people at AFA, CWA & AFTAH say that Homosexuals are the ones that are "hostile" toward Christians - but if those folks would take a minute and read the comments that are made by these so-called "loving Christians" - they might get a clue as to why some of us are "hostile" towards them.

"We are not merely another animal, but were made in the likeness of God."
I wonder if 90% of god's DNA is junk as well? You would think that if god made us that he would have been a little more careful and attentive to the details when it came to the blueprints!
And they ok'd the "Terrorism = Homosexuals = McDonalds" which just goes to show you how nutballish those loons really are. You would think that they would be trying to distance themselves from Mad Sally-isms!

Easily half of the comments say something like "I won't be taking my grandkids to McDonald's anymore!". Ok, who taught the elderly how to use computers????
Posted by: chris | Jul 7, 2008 5:40:03 PM
I think they write that stuff themselves and just make it look like some reader sent it in as a comment. Are there really that many bats**t crazy people who even know HOW to submit comments?

So Peter has offered his support to this boycott - with a link to your site BTW:

Yea, I saw that, Alonzo. Funny.

I think all the people who declared that they will be taking their business to Burger King should know that Burger King has also sponsored MANY gay activities with money and products. Will you pass the word, please?
Platinum sponsors included Thomas Blount, Dade Community Foundation, Darden Restaurants, Stephen Herbits, Merrill Lynch and James G. Pepper. Gold sponsors included AT&T, Akerman Senterfitt, Burger King, ...>>

Their only picking on McDonalds because it gives them a good enough reason to stop eating that crap, I work at target which also celebrates diversity and donates to various gay causes, Yay Target and McDonalds!!!

fr the article:
>..Chick-Fil-A is more a family friendly chain of resturants....<
BLECH! Their so-called "food" is absolutely terrible, grease-laden, and served freezing COLD. My wife and I went there ONCE, and vowed never again.

Nice to see AFA posting treasonous comments regarding gay people:
"WOW!! Terrorism = Homosexuals = McDonalds What's next McDonalds? Beastiality?"
The AFA needs to remove "American" from their name, because I've yet to see any message about gays from them, that doesn't sound like it's from a jihadist, high on stolen prescription drugs and typing away in some dune.

Anyone else sepot this little gem:
"Not all but most gay men are for the group NAMBLA (North America man/boy love Association) and with McDonald's targeting kids in their commercials it is a strange and scary association McDonald's places itself. Until McDonald's denounces the NAMBLA group and any gay agenda I will boycott them. Oh by the way I have a big mouth and I will email and tell everyone I know to boycott McDonald's."
How the hell does something like that get approved for posting while a rationally thought out opposing view is denied?

Sorry, I still like IN and OUT.... best!!!

Oh, us damn homosexuals. Loving our chosen partners. Working hard; paying our taxes, abiding by the laws of this country--no matter how unfair or unequal they are to the GLBT population. Damn those gays/lesbians for having strong families, excellent family values, valuing education, and standing up for thier rights!
My goodness--why on earth are people so damn afraid of allowing people to simply love who they love? What "God" would not support love???
McDonalds, here I come!!

"We say that these are the comments that the AFA has "chosen to post," because we have tried to leave several gay-positive ones, and none have been approved. Others have told us the same thing."
This is absolutely true. . .the AFA and any affiliated website (boundlessline.org comes to mind)ignores any gay positive comments.

"How the hell does something like that get approved for posting while a rationally thought out opposing view is denied?"
That's a no-brainer....
The old coot behind AFA has been going hysterical over cartoons for years - saying Donald Duck has uttered curse words, claiming Mighty Mouse snorts cocaine, among other loony accusations.
I'd be more inclined to believe it's Don Wildmon, his brother, and the rest of the "higher-up's" at AFA who's the ones cussing like a sailor and ghostbusting the carpets for crack rock pieces at AFA HQ.

"Not all but most gay men are for the group NAMBLA (North America man/boy love Association)"
Not all but most gay men born since the late 70's have never even SEEN the presence of NAMBLA, anywhere in the gay community.
And I imagine if they ever (if they even still exist) set up a booth at a GLBT event, they'd be chased out and beaten with high heel shoes.
Plus I got three words for them, if they want to try to pin pedophiles strictly on people who identify as gay:
"I'm Chris Hansen".
I hope that show never gets cancelled, because it continues to prove the fact that it's mostly married heterosexual men who's out trolling for "the children".

Here's some more great commentary on the ban. Had to share... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chris-kelly/mcdonalds-makes-jesus-cry_b_111421.html

I find it interesting that the people on the AFA sites are stating the they will eat at Burger King a Division of pillsbury which has a strong diversity statment and supports the GLBT community at many GLBT centered events in the Twin Cities. I believe that if they checked their records Wendy's has similar tolerance "support" of the homosexual agenda in their corporate diversity statement

OH an your going to have to CUT up your AMEX cards cause they are a coporate and regular sponsor of the Twin Cities Gay mens Chorus. 10 to 20 THOUSAND dollars every year.

I just sent a very supportive comment on their site, and listed about 150 companies that they should be boycotting because they all scored 100% on HRC's Corporate Equality scale. So far they haven't posted it.
That 150 companies is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. The goal should be to make it take up so much of their time just remembering which companies they can't support (and products they can't buy) that they don't have time to do anything else. And, then the world will truly be a better place for everyone.
Posted by: Dick Mills | Jul 8, 2008 3:01:42 PM
LOL Dick Mills - that would keep them busy! An anti-gay whack-a-mole boycotting spree!
And they'd be stupid enough to do it, too!
Anyway, enough about MacDonalds and these old coots. G-A-Y, how's aboot some comedy - like, is Stephen Bennett Ministries still coasting on fumes, or what?
Posted by: Scott | Jul 8, 2008 5:09:03 PM
I don't often go to fast food joints, but this time I shall make an exception. Surely McDonald's has something I can tolerate eating. Congrats to Mickey D for refusing to knuckle under to the fascists!

Are both sides fighting for the same thing here? I mean, prostitution and cheating? What does that have to do with sexual orientation?
I think the focus should be on educating these individuals that they're calling a spade a pick fork. Unless they're choosing to make such comparisons in a lacklustre attempt to warrant an argument.
