Later, late night-loving brother

by Jeremy Hooper

Picture 5-142Even though we don't usually dedicate much time to British or club scene developments, we at G-A-Y would be remiss if we didn't mention this , the closing of our across-the-pond clubby namesake:

The end of the G-A-Y -- The London nightclub that welcomed Kylie, Cyndi and Madonna, and provided the venue for countless gay romances, is shutting up shop [Times Online]

We never went to this G-A-Y (which also stands for "Good As You"). But just like a twin whose pain you can feel, we suffer when our namesake suffers. The closing has completely deprived us of the ability to dance in a dark room while sipping on a cocktail.

But don't feel badly for us. After all, our pal Andy has to mourn every time a toll road closes.

Your thoughts

Oh G.A.Y..... we'll always have me doing lines off the mirror table in your VIP bathroom on my first and only trip to London with that gorgeous mysterious 20yo sex machine that took me in for 72 hours. God those were the days.
