TX Baptists to change 'Gay'

A four-block street in San Antonio, TX, is likely going to be renamed "Second Baptist Way," in honor of a formerly all-Black house of worship that's been located in the area for over one hundred years. City officials are expected to vote on the name change this coming Thursday.

200808051551 So why do we tell you this seemingly insignificant fact? Oh, well because the street is currently named "Gay":

But don't get all up in arms yet, gays (of the human, not road varieties). Everyone involved insists that the homo-centric ties to the word "gay" have nothing to do with the street's name change, and we're certainly willing to believe them for now. However, if all of the street's manholes are promptly given "Exit Only" signs, then someone's gonna have some splainin' to do!
