'A Lie in Defiance of Fun' suffers NY blow
The Alliance Defense Fund has been dealt a loss today in our home state. Despite the notoriously anti-gay legal beagle's efforts to derail progression in the Empire State, a Bronx Supreme Court justice ruled today that Gov. David Paterson was totally consistent with New York law when he issued his directive demanding that the state recognize same-sex unions performed in other jurisdictions:

It remains to be seen what step the ADF will next take to prevent NY gays from returning home with a legal marriage certificate in hand. Though it's shocking to us just how easily we can imagine the words "vigilante-installed border fence complete with armed guards" coming out of their mouths.
**Surprise, surprise: The ADF has announced plans to appeal. THEN comes the border fence.

I like they way they just get more strident and so few are listening.
