Alice in Spinoffland

200809040913"The L Word" may be ending after the forthcoming season, but it doesn't mean the end of the Alice Pieszecki character. Showtime has announced that Leisha Hailey will star in a spinoff pilot for the cable network:

At this point, no plot details have been revealed for the new series. So stop writing us, ladies, and asking if "tantric sex instructor at a nude beach" will be Alice's new gig. We simply don't know!

Although if we had our way, we know exactly what we would do: Turn the spinoff into a remake:
