Golden gays get pro-'mo promo

by Jeremy Hooper

Picture 4-173SAGE (Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders) has launched a series of new ads that will appear in print publications in New York, as well as on NYC transit and phone kiosks around the city. Meant to serve as a "visibility and education campaign" to promote the organization's work in addressing the specific needs LGBT seniors, the ads are working under the slogan, "Because there is no expiration date on a full, active life." AdRANTs has more:

LGBT Seniors Invade Bus Shelters, Print Ads, Subways [AdRANTs]

Will these ads make up for the parade of inequality that Boomer gays had to experience in the 20th century? No. But it's nice to see that SAGE is so committed to making everyone's golden years enjoyable, while there's still THYME time.

Your thoughts

I guess the name Services and Advocacy for GLBT Seniors wasn't popular with their board of directors.
