Video: An extra cheesy anti-gay message
After most people eat a pizza, they immediately dispose of (or better yet, recycle) the box. Other people, however, think that holding onto the cardboard contraption so that they can use it to condemn gays to hell is a better way to proceed. During her weekend trip to the North Carolina Pride Parade, our bloggy pal Pam Spaulding found evidence of the latter character:
Oh Pam, you silly -- this young lady can't speak out against divorce on this day. Divorce messages can only be carried on the backs of those nacho containers with the separate cheese compartments. You know, like the ones you get at baseball games? If you would read your "Dogmatic Fast Food Receptacle Handbook," Pamela, then you too would know they breakdown:
PIZZA BOX -- For damning gays
GREASY TACO BAG -- For denouncing abortion
NACHO CONTAINER -- For condemning divorce
CARDBOARD 4-CUP CARRIER -- For rebuking atheists
And of course the most elusive of all the container-based evangelism:
IMAGINARY PACKAGING THAT WILL SOMEDAY CARRY SOME SORT OF YET-TO-BE-INVENTED SPACE FOOD -- For remembering to not be so judgmental or to act like you have all the answers
The video isn't showing at the moment, but I watched this at PHB over the weekend - pretty hilarious! I hope the girl finds the video, so she can hear how ridiculous she sounds.
She is the symbol of "christianity" today though: approaching you with a nasty pizza box, with the words "YOU DESERVE TO GO TO HELL" scribbled on it, and psychotically fake-crying "I love you!!"
Even more psychotic that she's standing alongside others, with the "shall be put to death" line on their signs. If Jesus really "talks" to these people, he needs to recommend they all get medications.

Lol, I saw them was up there... Even got a few pics with the crazy fundies who kept spewing brimstone and hellfire at the camera...
Of course, there were -quite- a few of them lined up around our car, so that was kind of odd, heh.
Honestly, though... I think what they hated more than the gays and general parade, was when the gay churches went marching by. x)
