Video: Must watch of the day

by Jeremy Hooper

Republican pundits Mike Murphy and Peggy Noonan, once they think the cameras are no longer watching or listening:

Oy. Ya know, Sarah, we would be weary of any members of the Republican brass who might tell you to "break a leg" tonight. After all, it's looking more and more like a prediction of a crippling stumble from these folks would be less of a way for them say good luck, and more a way to tell you that you just might not make it to Nov.4.

Noonan and Murphy on Palin [YouTube]

**UPDATE: Noonan responds.

*Rough transcript:

Murphy: You know, because I come out of the blue swing state governor work. Angler, Whitman, Thompson, Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush. And these guys, this is all how you want to (inaudible) this race. You know, just run it up. And it's not gonna work. But..

Noonan: It's over.

Murphy: Still, McCain can give a version of the Lieberman speech to do himself some good.

Unidentified speaker, poss. Chuck Todd, says something about it being insulting to Kay Bailey Hutchinson]

Noonan: I saw Kay this morning

Murphy: They're all bummed out.

*I mean, is she really the most qualified woman they could have turned to?

Noonan: The most qualified? No. I think they went for this, excuse me, political bullshit about narratives and (inaudible) the picture.

*Yeah, but what's the narrative?

Murphy: I totally agree.

Noonan: Every time the Republicans do that because that's not where they live and it's not what they're good at and they blow it.

Murphy: You know what's really the worst thing about it? The greatness of McCain is no cynicism and this is cynical.

**UPDATE: Noonan responds.

I've already saved a copy to my hard drive for when it "disappears" from YouTube

Ha ha, that's why I don't say things like this until I'm far from recording devices!

Boy she is really trying to weasel out of that one. It's pretty clear to me that is exactly what she said and I think all of the other 452,000+ who have heard it think the same!!!

My God! Yet another Palin post?

Sarah Palin... Sarah Palin... Sarah Palin. Ever since she was chosen by McCain she's about the only thing on your mind. What drives this obsession?

People will think you're in love with the woman.
