For now, the Internet is a better place
This is how the official "yes on 8" site looks as of 2:34 PM:
"Failed to connect": From our browser's mouth to November 4th voters' ears!!
**UPDATE: It's 2:55 and the site is back up. On behalf of fair-minded humans everywhere, we would like to send a hearty apology to the World Wide Web for this unwelcome return.
Your thoughts
Here's the message I got when trying to log on - Lots of "warnings" and one "fatal error" - Let's hope that's a sign of what's to come Nov. 4.

Well, I'm not seeing anymore of those "Yes on h8" ads! I hope it is that they've caught on to the fact that I have been clicking on them (at their expense) every time I see them, and are now blocking me from seeing them any longer. I think that hatemongery should have a cost!

A little poking the site reveals that the heading graphic - the picture of a happery heterosexual couple with cute children - is randomly selected on each retrieval from a small library of images following that theme.
Also that the design of their strange webserver renders it impossible for the to use any filename with an underscore. And that Index is enabled globally! Idiots! This site is a hackers dream. Exposed code, global index... if I were the malicious type, I'm sure I could destroy it for a time.
