Unemployment truly isn't the worst job scenario

by Jeremy Hooper

The folks with the cruel and discriminatory "yes on 8" campaign have announced the hiring of three new anti-wedding planners. Those who are advancing up the ladder of corporate bias are:

Deputy Campaign Manager of Logistics: Rick Ahearn
Director of Latino Outreach: Laura Saucedo Cunningham
Sacramento-based Press Secretary: Chip White
Protect Marriage Campaign Staff Keeps Growing [Yes on 8]

So welcome Laura, Rick, and Chip. When we kiss our partners good night, we'll remember your choice to make a career out of hurting us. When we file separate tax returns from the one with whom we've built a life, we'll remember your choice to make a career out of hurting us. When we are hassled while trying to visit our partners in the hospital, we'll remember your choice to make a career out of hurting us. When we are forced to dedicate countless dollars and mental energy to this unnecessary fight, we'll remember your choice to make a career out of hurting us. And when we remember your choice to make a career out of hurting us, we'll thank every fiber of our being that we do not view the world in such a self-centered, discriminatory, myopic, hurtful way!

Your thoughts

I just don't understand why these people are bent on hurting people.

I've never understood.

The only explanation seems to be Christian hating....directly in contradiction to their teachings. Where did they learn to hate?

How did they come to that?

I don't know.

I just feel sad that the promise of equality from the Christian faith is a fake.
