Video: These arguments have no legs

by Jeremy Hooper

Just in time for Halloween, it's a disembodied head who compares gays to prostitutes:

Was anyone else hoping the camera would pan out in the last frame to reveal this dude decked out in a lovely chiffon evening gown? We totally were. But alas the camera, unlike the arguments, stayed tight throughout.

But wait a minute -- it looks like by posting this video, we did just give scores of people "head" in exchange for ad clicks. So wow, maybe we are like prostitutes after all!

Gay Marriage, WWJD? [YouTube]

*Here's the earlier video. See if you can determine how, exactly, this self-appointed Jesus spokesperson has refrained from condemnation:

Your thoughts

Wow. I thought I'd heard them all, but this is a first for "Paul said men shouldn't sleep with their mothers. QED."

I just kept wondering what is behind that curtain (satin bed sheet??) that is hanging behind him. And what the fuck is that growing on his chin? And two words: BO-TOX!

This dude has some SERIOUS problems. Did anyone go and look at his you tube channel? He is a pshyco. Just ask him why his marriage failed? He was obsessed with sniffing her panties when she got home from the store. It is true. I know them!

Posted by: brittany | Oct 17, 2008 12:21:56 PM

brittany: Vote yes if you want. But don't kid yourself into believing that your vote is anything less than hateful.

Posted by: G-A-Y | Oct 17, 2008 12:39:02 PM

woah dude how is my vote hateful? because i think gay marriage is wrong? how is that hating? i don't hate gay people because i have gay friends but i don't think it should be legal. there's many generations coming & they need Jesus along w/biblical truth!

Posted by: brittany | Oct 17, 2008 2:49:39 PM

Right, see, Brittany: We wouldn't expect you to say anything else. Everyone on your side denies the hate behind anti-gay rhetoric. And I would concede that the majority on your side are not generally hateful people and that most sincerely don't want to hate on the gay community. However, voting against our civil equality, casting our lives and loves as immoral, denying us religion, presenting us as threatening to children -- those are all very, very wrong-headed ways to view LGBT people. And yes, they are both hateful and hurtful.

For decades, your side has been spinning discrimination as "family values." But those of us who have been personally hurt by these "values" in very real (and frightening) ways know the truth behind the spin.

Wow, brittany, I didn't what I said was that disturbing. I actually thought that I gave the muff-saddle all the due deference that he deserved.

But, I am curious about your last statement. Were you trying to say that it shouldn't be legal to have gay friends? Or that it shouldn't be legal to be gay? Or???

To Brittany:

Dear Brittany:

Please read the US Constitution which bars your religious beliefs being used a a hammer on my civil rights

Amendment 1 - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. Ratified 12/15/1791. Note

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Please read the next Amendment, which is against your bible as it states in Ephesians 6:5 Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear, trembling, and sincerity, as when you obey the Messiah.

13 - Slavery Abolished. Ratified 12/6/1865. History

1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

Another Constitutional Amendment that goes again your bible teachings Ephesians 5:22 Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

Amendment 19 - Women's Suffrage. Ratified 8/18/1920. History

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.

Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

Your argument that government shouldn't allow gay marriage doesn't stand up under logical reasoning. The US government has many laws that go against your bible teachings. Get over it.

This man is a fraud. His church failed about seven years ago, because he was having an affair with members of his church. He felt so guilty about this that he started to accuss his wife of cheating on him, hence was the start of the failure of his "church." He is an embaressment to all christians as a typical christian doesnt believe the way he does. If you get time stop by his you tube account and ask him why his churched failed and if those women were worth his church and marriage?
