Video: You can actually hear the discourse lowering

by Jeremy Hooper

Due to marriage, longtime anti-gay activist Janet Folger has become Janet Porter. Due to desperation, Porter and her uber-conservative friends have become almost unbelievably shrill and fear-mongery:

**For whatever reason, this video was pulled from its former YouTube home. You can, however, still find it at the appropriately anti-Democratic news site, WorldNetDaily: A newscast from a future we must never see [WND]

Your thoughts

I liked the censorship part at the end when she was taken off the air. Best part of the video! well done!

That's probably one of the most hateful and ignorant videos I've ever seen. It's an incredible insult to Barack Obama, what he stands for, and any person that supports him.

Definitely not funny.

fuck me! i'm embarrassed and i'm not even christian or republican. who thinks this shit? in 2008 in the USA? sick!

How large a role does the psychological mechanism of projection play here? This may give us some insight into what Janet Porter was looking forward to in 2001 and 2005, but it would be more than a little surprising to see an Obama Administration actually use the loony tunes powers VP Cheney had President Bush the ever so much Lessor claiming in all those signing statements and memos to do anything of the sort.

Usually these things come with a notable element of campaign prefiguring. We have seen some of that this time around, but not from the Obama Campaign.

Now there's another reason to vote for Obama; to make Janet Porter furious.

I'm not sure whether to laugh or vomit.

This is so ridiculous it just needs a laughter track overlayed at several points to make it even more hillarious.

They couldn't think up anything funnier on Saturday Night Live. LOL

The only problem here is that she is serious and scarier than the Antichrist. I know how Ravvie feels.
