Cozy office in Rocky Mt. state vs. the actual freaking mountain: Whose reporting view do you most trust?

Focus on the Family's Stuart Shepard has gone after gays, over and over and over again. He's gone after the so-called "war on Christmas." He also caught national attention when he asked folks to pray for rain on the day of Obama's DNC speech. And he's done it all through this bizarre and slighlty off-putting self-satisfied grin, the kind that should only be reserved for those who actually have truth to back up their "comedy."

But now, the intensely smug Dobsonite has gone a step too far. How, you ask? Well, he has focused his aggressively annoying snark on a true national treasure: The beloved Ann Curry:

Yea, Ann: Don't pass off your "one-sided science" -- present Stuart's one-sided science (no quotes), the likes of which is backed primarily by partisans. What are you, some liberal?! ::sigh::

Ann, we've always felt close to you, due to the countless "good mornings" you've offered up over the past decade or so...

But now you are bound to us gays in another club: Those who have been targeted by Stuart Shepard's hostile, oversimplified takes on complex subjects. Welcome, A.C!

*Oh, and it should be noted that Curry, in the full report that Stuart has severely truncated, did not act like a global warming hardliner. She merely called Kilimanjaro a "global warming poster childm" which IT IS, regardless of where you stand! Here's the full "Nightly News" report:

**ALSO: This video -- which also is peacefully open to possibilities rather than, like Stuart, militantly anti-one possibility -- comes courtesy of National Geographic:

Your thoughts

I can see the future for the rightwingers next holy fight... it will be the planet itself. Once we gays have our laws the Mother earth will be the next criminal.

Just because those morons claim that global warming is a "hotly contested" theory, doesn't mean that it is. The only way that their lunacy gets any traction is because a certain feeble minded subset of the populous gets all of their information from these liars. And the only intelligent beings who foist this nonsense is because they have a financial stake in the outcome of the discussions. And, FOF, must also have a significant financial stake in the matter as well. Probably some donations from oil company execs, or other ultra right wingers.

Maybe we should get together and buy FOF! Then, at least, some of those feeble minded would get some real, rational and relevant information.
