Lactose tolerant: Early 'Milk' reviews are really good

There are still many, many reviews left to come in. But as of now, Milk is sitting pretty on Rotten Tomatoes' trusted critics meter:

Picture 14-62

Also, Entertainment Weekly has just given the film a highly respectable A-:

"the rare liberal message-movie manifesto that lingers in the mind as well as the heart"
Milk Review [EW]

A promising start for this very promising development on the queer cinema landscape! Now get yeself to a cinema, folks. Even vegans: This is one Milk that will go just perfectly with your Tofurkey and soy butter stuffing!

Now that's cool! How did you ever get that?

It opens here tomorrow, so I'm hoping I'll get to see it between thanksgiving festivities or at least over the weekend.

Here's the best to you and your family, Jeremy!

We've got tickets to the December 4th Health Trust benefit screening. I can't wait...

Well personally, I LOVED it. I was already very familiar with all the details, but it didn't matter. The film still felt new and fresh. It has continued to stick with me.

Just make sure you don't see it at a Cinemark, Century, or Tinseltown theater. Even if you have to go out of your way.

the reviews that I was able to see are all good except the Moonie paper, The Washington Times, which said Penn overacted.

Actually, I know of a few gay activists who have given less-than-stellar reviews. Personally, I thought it was fantastic.
