Your thoughts

This looks dangerously like an actual ad. I'm almost positive some batshit religious person will actually support this.

Very Good video. But those that are Prop 8 supporters will never agree to support the out right ban of divorce. Perhaps the far right fringed Christian groups may support it to some extent but most Christians including most of the conservative evangelical/fundamentalists will not support it.

For them the Bible still allows divorce in cases of adultery and for no other reason. Paul gives another reason BUT Paul is not Jesus. I always make sure I mention that to the Bible literalists. It drives them crazy.

Jeremy, I would love to see a petition to ban divorce in 50 states just to see what the Religious Right would say and do. If they truly want to preserve the sanctity of marriage then they need to support laws that ban divorce except in cases of adultery. But I get the feeling they will not. It would affect them directly and that is something they cannot allow if it means it will infringe on their rights and choices.

Hypocrisy? Sure. But isn't that what they are best at?

Sometimes, divorce would be the best option whenever the couple didn’t get along as what husband and wife should be. The former CEO of the United Technologies Corp is having trouble with his estranged wife Marie Douglas David for she wanted $60 million more than the amount that was stated on their post-nuptial agreement seven years ago. She could have possibly married someone she liked for normal reasons instead of for his money?
