Your thoughts

It never ceases to amaze me that homophobes think if they claim to have gay friends, it somehow absolves them of their bigotry.

Gay friends probably means she nods in their direction when she sees them at the supermarket. I can say that our real straight friends support us in all respects. They proved that when they came to our wedding and were really happy for us.

this was hilarious. The crazy lady through in the tired defense of "oh no, I have gay friends" and even worse "oh no, I know some gay parents."

I can't imagine walking next to someone who thinks my family shouldn't exist. I would be vomiting in my mouth a lot around her.

The parentheses comment had me laughing out loud. Mainly because I've been looking at Sonja Eddings Brown for so many months now, and it's funny to see this obscure figure getting 'Daily' attention.

Exactly - if you're talking shit about your so-called "gay friends", and trying to keep them as 2nd class citizens......they're not your friends. Just sounds more like people you have a seething hatred for, and nothing else.

You know, this is why I love him. He keeps it real, you know?

He brings out all the questions we ask. And he's right.

But since when is homosexuality taught at school?
