PETA has (soy) beef with Prop 8

by Jeremy Hooper

Depending on your animal rights-iness, you might disagree with their stances on consuming/wearing/making rugs out of flesh. However, we can't imagine that too many of even the most beef-noshing of gays are gonna have a problem with PETA's choice for 2009's "out" proposition:

Picture 14-64

Yes, that's right: Prop 8, circus elephants, and Paris Hilton all are on the outs. There would seem to be some sort of nuts joke in that, but we're sooooo not gonna go there.

Though we should mention that we do see one glaring oversight on the list: MOOSE BURGERS. Gays, veggies, those concerned with the possibility of nuclear warfare: We should ALL be celebrating the fact that our incoming presidency won't be fueled by that Alaskan dish!!
