I've been reading your blog for a few months now and while I don't quite understand every position you take I do enjoy reading them. Don't lose your sense of humor. The prop. 8 thing has really seemed to take the wind out of your sails. It's only one battle and the war is far from over. And I hope you don't mind me saying, you're cute. peace & love E. N.

On the contrary, Ed -- Prop 8 has re-energized me (and hoepfully all of us) like never before . But yea, I did take it on a deeply personal level, since I had major CA wedding plans that I had to cancel. It was hard to laugh for some time after.

I think that 2008 showed us that as much as things seem to be going our way, we can never let up and never take anything for granted. And, that we can never underestimate the depths to which those who would deny us dignity are willing to stoop. But, I think that we also found allies who are ready to step up and stand with us. We've come a long way, but we have miles to go.
May 2008 serve as a defining moment in our lives. May we never become complacent. May our invigorated zeal serve us well in the coming year. And, may we all enjoy health, peace and happiness.
Thank you, Jeremy, for being so diligent and for being the voice that we need. Happy New Year to you and all of yours.
And, Happy New Year to everyone - we deserve it.

Thank you Jeremy. . , for the 2008 and 2009 tapes. Annus Horribilus or Annus Mirabilis? Both can be said of 2008. Now at the 40th Anniv Year of STONEWALL ....we are just beginning STONEWALL 2.0. and have you, and lots of others, to lead us on our way. But our leaders must do it LOUDLY, not apologetically,...or we run the risk of just getting in line and run over, like we have been doing.
