Audio: He chopped his own Weiner yet still Savages trans community
Yesterday we gave you lots of background on San Francisco PD Lt. Stephan Thorne, and told you how an anonymous person had written to extremist radio host Michael Savage to, essentially, complain about Mr. Thorne's mere existence. Now, thanks to Media Matters, we have the lie-filled, hateful, histrionic audio that led us to discover the story in the first place:
Ya know, sometimes we feel like an institutional psychiatrist who didn't ask to hear his adult patients' bizarre cognitive outbursts, but who is at the same time simply fascinated by the way they demonstrate the human mind's unique ability to say so much in the unspoken subtext. Once you get past the initial shock of the job, it's quite an insightful ride!

What a transphobic IDIOT!!! It's sad that in 2009 after having elected a black man to the presidency that people would even bother to move their ears toward Mr. Weiner's soundwaves. Let's hope that this brandishing of uberhate goes the way of big trucks with gun racks and rebel flags...quietly into that good night.
