Brad Kiley: Gay for hire

And now in, "Yay, we like it when gays get cast in the real-life version of 'The West Wing'" news: A gay man has been hired into the Obama White House. This from the Washington Blade:

200901051707President-elect Barack Obama announced today that an openly gay man will serve as director of the White House Office of Management & Administration.

Brad Kiley, the new appointee, currently serves as director of operations for the Obama transition team and as an official for the Center for American Progress think tank.

In this role, Kiley will be in charge of operations like office spacing and salaries. Our hope: That he won't relegate his own office to the closet, nor fail to remind his colleagues and superiors that this own taxable salary will not be declared on a joint federal tax return. Because our visiblity matters, be it on Main Street Or Pennsylvania Ave.

I expect very soon to see a few anti-gay websites accusing Obama (Or possibly Hussain) of only appointing him because he is gay.
