Stephen focuses on another kind of bottoms
For the past many years, Stephen Bennett has worked as a professional "ex-gay," trying to convince anyone who will listen that the homo set can "change" who they are. But now, if the following graphic that we received via Stephen's RSS feed is any guide, it seems that Mr. Bennett has a new, more pantsy venture on the horizon. Check it out:
Yes, that's right -- it looks like the longtime thorn in the gay community's side is now ready to keep our sides warm with hand sewn flannel. It's certainly a better, more productive enterprise.
Though you'll have to forgive us if we're reluctant to put our junk up in a pair of these PJs. For all we know, it may all be part of some new "ex-gay" strategy to burn off our genitalia via acid-laden fabric. One can never be too cautious.
**NOTE: Although we got this in our RSS over the weekend, the related post has actually been pulled from Steve's site. We sincerely hope that we didn't blow his planned launch. But then again, he's been working for years to blow our planned blo....nevermind.
hand sewn flannel PJ's... are you sure this man is an ex-gay, becase as far as gay stereotypes go hand sowing your own pajamas is very arts and crafts for this manly man.

Well, you can't overlook the whole "daddy" aspect too.
Frankly, the flannel seems a little more like outreach to his (ex-?)lesbian demographic.

Hmmmm... the Daddy Pants fabric room seems rather low on flannal. I just don't think that I want to wear pink gingham "pants" or little frogs or turtles.

And there's this from his earlier blog:
"Irene, the kids and I all needed new pajamas. Yes, pajamas. But they don’t like store-bought ones. They want homemade. So, as usual, I made them.
Chloe and Blake both got plaid lounge pants. I made Irene a long flannel nightshirt. I’m finishing my lounge pants tonight (they’re almost done.. I’m just taking a break before starting again.) Maybe I’ll post a photo of how they all came out. They really came out great."
Looks like Stephen runs the family sewing machine.

Peter LaBarbera selling Coordinated Jock Straps to enhance Stephen Bennett's PJ Bottoms? Peter always puts Bennett up on a pedestal proclaiming how Bennett "successfully" transitioned into being straight. (what a crock)
