How pathetic is the right getting when their conversations basically amount to "I'm more homophobic than you are." It's almost funny.

Huckabean is a dagnegrous character I tell you, with his folksome, aw shucks demeanor while maintaining candy coated anti gay rhetoric. He should stay in Arkansas and never ever leave. And he is one of the worst bass players EVER!

That is such a powerful statement- it makes me want to sob and give you a big hug... I'm so sorry that the message, power, and truth of Jesus' life has been so thoroughly taken over and used for evil. After reading your blog, and a few linked to you, I am deeply moved at the damage that has been done by those who have come in the name of religion but not really IN the name (nature, character, and authority) of Jesus. May there be a blessing on you and peace.
I love the Lord but after reading the bible, seeing miracles and experiencing profound emotional healing (still in process) I had to leave going to church because I found out that the Book of Acts and the gospels still happen today and Jesus has not changed. Yes religion has utterly perverted his message, but they don't know him either. If they knew Him- they would be like Him..he was meek, he brought words of life, not death. They have "another Jesus" and they actually hate the real one- because his words rebuke them.
