Tammy, Hillary: Democratic heroines/pen pals

Good As You Images Tammybaldwin-1Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin is the latest voice encouraging the Secretary of State to address the disparities that exist within the State Department in terms of equal benefits and protections for gay and lesbian employees and their families. Here, check out a letter that the openly lesbian lawmaker, along with Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI), Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR), and Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), sent to the openly Clinton Secretary:

We're not sure if Sec. Clinton will get to it tonight, since Monday means a new episode of "24," and we imagine that fictional president Cherry Jones has her all weepy for what might've been/emboldened for what someday will be (Hillary 2016!). But here's hoping Sec. Clinton will eventually give this thoughtful, needed suggestion the time it deserves so that the State Dept can give its gay and lesbian employees the benefits that they deserve. This sort of silly nonsense is just so Bushian.

Your thoughts

And, let's not forget that Cherry Jones is the first openly gay female performer to ever portray POTUS on Network Television! Go CHERRY! I love that woman!

Bushian... I guess. Maybe we need a contest for 'Bushlike'...not just Bushy, Huh? Does it have to be Bushey? How about Bushwa? (rhymes with bourgeois)

Anyway, off subject...and here I told myself I wouldn't answer after the wine with dinner anymore...

YES our FSO's need their loved ones protected. Would their children be? Or does it depend where they are adopted?
