The Human Rights Campaign honors Black History Month:

Despite some conservatives cries about gays unfairly hitching their wagon to the African American Civil Rights Movement, the reality is that the dots of discrimination are connected in some very profound ways. Not all ways -- but some ways.

We remember and learn from the past as we march forward to a more peaceful future.
