Young'uns, weaned on BS, are standing up to same

by Jeremy Hooper

Some things really give us hope for the future. Progressives finally getting a voice and an ear in Washington, for one. Knowing that Amy Poehler's midseason sitcom is in the pipe, for another. Oh, and this:

Ours is the future, theirs is the past. Onward we will be honored.

Your thoughts

So true, the Future is God's and he is on our side. When the folk from Rev. Mr. Phelps' Church get to the Pearly Gates, they will be confronted by thousands of Gay people standing beside God, holding the gates open and praying, "Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do." I am sure many will turn away into the outer darkness, rather than enter Heaven and live with God and us forever.

My partner goes to the community college across town from this high school. He wasn't able to go to the protest, but many of the other members of the Queers & Allies group at the school went. Looks like he missed out!

That is so great. I do hope someone in the MSM picks it up. What a wonderful support for those kids. I want them all out here in California when we go against Prop H8 next.
