Audio: A writer reads his fiction

by Jeremy Hooper

Want to hear a grown adult who spends his every day persecuting gay lives and loves turning around and playing the "persecution" card himself? Well listen to the following long-winded speech that professional foe of the 'mos Peter LaBarbera delivered earlier this week at Arlington Heights' Christian Liberty Academy.

Listen in as gays are presented as "spiritually sick" and the "enemy," the transgender community is cruelly mocked, the "ex-gay" community is presented as incredibly sizable (even though almost nobody knows an actual "former homosexual" who is not also a professional anti-gay activist), homosexuality is directly likened to adultery and drug addiction, and Peter's wife's obvious (and understandable) frustration with his bizarre career subtextually punctuates every last one of his words:

Well that's 90 minutes we'll never get back. But of course that's still better than the wasted professional life that Peter will not only be unable to reclaim, but that will live on beyond his natural years as an unfortunate example of misguided, misdirected bias. A shame, really.
