Your thoughts

When I saw Herrera on Maddow last night, I got the distinct impression that he stopped just short of suggesting that if we lose on state constitutional grounds, that his next step would be to file an appeal on federal equal protection grounds. If that were to happen, then in three or four years we could be before the SCOTUS. Hopefully, if it comes to that, one (or more) of the more asshole-ish of them will have retired and been replaced by a moderate.
