He is going to be eaten alive on how he dumped criminals to San Bernardino County, and how his city has a failed sanctuary city policy where an illegal immigrant who committed crimes previously murdered three people in the city.
However if Tom Campbell is not the Republican nominee, and Newsom is the Democratic nominee I will likely support him.
