Prop 8 is a stumble for our side. But time's mere advancement is a crippling fatal blow for our opposition's!

Your thoughts

THANK YOU Jeremy! That's how I view today's ruling also.

Yes, and let's turn our focus to #2 on your list, Maine. Because as we speak they are collecting signatures to put a People's Veto on the ballot, and I haven't been reading much about what we're doing to combat the signature gathering. And then we'll be looking at another ballot measure in November, with no existing marriages this time.

I don't think we should be counting Maine yet. Not until we've dealt with the Bringham Young veto.

While I hoped against hope, deep down I knew this would be the ruling. Fine. Let's have our tears and then move on.

Major kudos to WontBackDown.org for using the beautiful Dawn Landes version of the song. This isn't over yet.

Thanks for the balance, Jeremy.

Like others, I have tears for people affected by the California decision. I could just cry - their kids have to go to school tomorrow and face the music.

I just don't understand how, essentially, a majority of people can vote to exclude people's rights. How can people be so hateful? How can that be legal?

Dave has to quit now - I'm very upset.
